Sharon started piercing in Amsterdam
in 1996 and has always felt she was born to be a piercer.
She used to pierce herself since the age of 9 and was inspired by the eccentric Mathilde Willink who had more than multiple earpiercings.
Nowadays she is the owner of Dare 2 Wear in Amsterdam and Classic Glamour in Rotterdam.
Sharon’s big love for adornment and beauty made her decide to make quality piercing jewelry as well, which are sold in both her shops.

Sharon’s favorite piercing to do is a smiley/ lipfrenulum because she finds it super easy to do, its practically painless and really adds something to your smile

Since starting her piercing journey in 2020, Mia has developed a passion for creating stunning ear curations that reflect each individual’s style. She thrives on working with colourful, sparkly, and dangly jewelry, surrounding herself with beautiful pieces every day.
While she enjoys taking on complex and unique projects, she never tires of the classic piercings—whether it’s earlobes, helix, or conch. The most rewarding aspect of her job is helping clients feel more confident and empowered in their bodies. She believes that a piercing can add just the right touch of sparkle, transforming not just a look, but how one feels.
Creating a safe and welcoming environment is a top priority for her, and she is here to support clients on their personal piercing journeys, no matter what that looks like for them.
You can find her in the studio Tuesday through Thursday and Saturday. When she’s not at work, she loves to spend her time painting, thrifting, or sculpting. Let’s make your piercing experience a beautiful one!
